Dried Triticale (Bearded)

A traditional elongated wheat grass head with smooth seed pod heads and long, smooth awns (Beards). The product is harvested when the seeds are firm but not mature thus minimizing shattering of the seed head and the stems are semi-green. The Triticale Bearded Wheat is dried using ambient air with no added preservatives or coloring. This item will retain the same color, appearance, and integrity dried as when fresh for several years particularly when displayed out of direct sunlight. This item is not promoted to be used for human or animal consumption.
